Welcome to myWORLD
First and foremost, I am a "man of GOD". I work for GOD. My purpose here, in this Earth, is to do His will. Am I perfect? LOL Are you kidding? But I'm willing and persistent in following Him and His calling on my life. This web page is to tell you something about me, to help you to better understand me, and my abilities, because I am here to help!
In the online world, things happen quickly. And getting your name "out there" where people can find you is "muey importante" to say the least. Given my experience in so many, many fields, it is befitting to put my talents and expertise to good work, and produce a personal website so others can find me, and learn what I am capable of, so that maybe I can help "them", with their needs and ventures. This site will also give you ways to reach me ... please be considerate. I have teams who are skilled at tracking down scammers, and I have little patience with those who play games online. I cursed a man once who was scamming me. GOD got ahold of him and he facetimed me to repent and ask my forgiveness. GOD healed him after he repented. Now let's move on.
GOD rescued me, and saved me from a dead-end path that was leading nowhere, with no appreciation, no respect, and no support. Every time I wanted to move and flow with GOD, I met with opposition. I wanted to be able to just be "me", and to be "loved" like noone else mattered. If I have to start over to get that, then so be it! GOD has assured me that He has "not" left me alone to fend for myself in this. So, let's get to learning more about "Rich". By the way it's not "Rick", but "Rich" ... like wealthy beyond measure? Now you get it!
I was born-again at the age of 8, as best as I can tell. I was baptized at 9, and filled with the Holy Spirit at around 13 years of age. Man, when "that" happened, I received "power"! I could all-of-a-sudden better understand scriptures, and what they meant! I was so excited! And since then it's been a learning process between me 'n GOD. You see I talk to GOD. Now, for me, that feels weird to say, but surprisingly enough, there are those out there who are born-again, and do not hear from GOD. Oh, He's talking, but their not on the same channel, so to speak. I've served as a prophet for almost 30 years, and recently, I finally gave-in to the Spirits drawing to accept the role as an apostle. Why was I so relunctant? Because I understand the importance of that role, and all too often see the title given to individuals freely, folks who are not-at-all qualified to "be" an apostle. However, that is between them and GOD. I just have to answer for "me".
I now have my Bachelor's Degree in Biblical and Theological Studies, and am licensed and ordained as a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now that's all man's acknowledgement and recognition. As for me, I know Whom I have believed, and I know what He has called me to do. That is enough for me. I don't need to go after my doctorate, or take on any fancy titles. That's why you will almost never see me introduce myself as an apostle. My name is "Rich". That should be enough! You'll find out very quickly just how anointed and called I am as you get to know me. I've served as a sr. pastor, an associate pastor, a youth pastor, and as a men's pastor, in various churches. I've also worked as an usher, a pulpit usher, a greeter, a nursury worker, and I've even cleaned toilets! I've run the sound department many times, and headed up a newly developed video ministry. I understand the variousl facets of ministry, and the needs of a church. And as an apostle, that experience helps a great deal!
I've also been the praise & worship leader, and learned very quickly the difference between a "performance" and in leading the body of Christ into an experience with Holy Spirit! I was once told I was not humble enough for a position in a ministry. When I presented that to GOD, He was not-at-all happy about it, saying, "I worked really hard to get you to where you could be bold and powerful, and have a commanding presence when speaking! If they can't appreciate that, I'll put you somwhere that you WILL BE appreciated!" I could tell He wasn't at all happy about their decision. But I have learned that sometimes, we get so "heavenly-minded" that we are no "earthly good" to anyone! In our efforts to be purse, we totally miss GOD! The Bible says that "the rightout are BOLD as a LION"! I'm more in line with "that". You'll never find someone comparing me a little sheep! LOL That's just not me.
Folks, I have been a prophet for so long that my focus and my way of thinking is literally "black-and-white". There are no "grey areas" in my world. So, when it comes to GOD, and to His Word, I can easily understand GOD's position on things. GOD is not "wishy-washy" about things. If He said it ... tha'ts it! There's no arguing it, or finding ways around it. He's already thought it out, and considered the alternatives. And when He says, "Do this" or "Don't do that", He means it. And THAT is where I come from, with my walk with GOD.
What I want ...
I want to pastor again. I miss it! I really do! I know that being a pastor can be challenging, but I love people! I love teaching them, and sharing with them, and helping them get that little light in the top of their head to "light up" with understanding! But for the time being, GOD has me writing ... writing books! You see, over the years, I have learned so much that I need to get it into books so I can share it more effectively! Then, after folks have been reading my books, they'll want me to come and teach. But, with the books, I can get teachings out and ocver so much more ground, in alot less time! So, I am working on teaching books, handbooks, devotionals, and study books. And when GOD's timing is right, I'll get to pastor again ... I hope.
When I do, I want to have a praise team that I can work with that will yearn for the presence of Holy Spirit. I don't want a big laser light show, and smoke, and such. I want people to have difficulty standing because GOD's presence is so strong in our services! Why? Because Jesus said, "If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me." And "that" is the way to get your church to grow ... introduce your people to GOD! Teach them how to enter into the presence of Holy Spirit, and you'll have an awesome church! Healings will take place! Finances will no longer be an issue! And families will be so strong that they'll be a living witness to those around them! THAT is what speaks to people today ... they want to see a "real GOD", with "real results" in your life! And I want to help the Body of Christ to grow and become that "Bride without spot or wrinkle" that Jesus is waiting for.
I have worked on a farm and ranch, learning how to work with livestock, crops, and farm implements. I worked at a radio station all through High School, and then several radio stations since then. I have extensive experience as a DJ, a program director, an automation engineer, and love working in commercial production. I have worked on transmitters, and radio station equipment. In the Air Force, I went through almost a years worth of formal training, in basic electronics, electronics theory, reading and understanding schematics, and two-way radio repair. I served in the Air Force for 4yrs active and 8yrs as a civilian, so I guess maybe 12yrs experience in the Air Force with the aforementioned. I love radios, and actively serve as a ham radio operator, a GMRS radio guy, and even CB's. I love repeaters, and relays, and play around with mesh networking, and experimental communications projects. My favorite is shortwave (HF), in working with RTTY (radio teletype), packet radio, and the various forms of communications that span the globe, and have for decades.
At an early time in my life, I began playing around with computers. I learned to build them, put them together, and troubleshoot them. I learned what they can do, and what they can't. I've worked with PC's (personal computers), mini-computers, and with mainframes. I've even worked with micro systems like raspberry Pi devices. I've worked with operating sytems ranging from CP/M 2.2, MS-DOS, TRSDOS, and the later releases of Windows, which still ran on MSDOS. Then there was Windows 98, Windows XP, and Windows NT, followed by Windows 7, and Vista, which wasn't really an operating system but Microsoft's worst mistake ever. I currently have Windows 10 Professional, because I hate the way Microsoft has removed so many nice features as they moved to Windows 11. I have worked with the Microsoft Server editions, and with MS Proxy, MS Exchange, MS BackOffice, MS Small Business Server, and Active Directory. I've created server configurations where the Primary Domain Controller was in one city, and the Backup Domain Controllers were in other cities, connected by a T-1 to each. These all functions as an entire "network" in the Microsoft realm. I have built various Microsoft servers and set up entire networks, and never once got a Microsoft certification. They're too costly, and constantly change, like the operating system.
Early on in my computers interest, I reached out to try LINUX. Having worked with UNIX I had fallen in love with the operating system as a whole. I worked with SCO-XENIX, the first version of UNIX made for PC's (PC = personal computer, not an IBM PC)* I have also worked with Ultrix-32, a DEC UNIX, HP-UX, HP's version of UNIX, and even worked with a version of DELL UNIX. SCO-UNIX was very impressive. Having come out before the big networking move, when "The Internet" (aka ARPANET) came available to the public, the only way for computers to communicate was by telephone, unless they were networked internally at a large business. So, UUCP, and similar services in UNIX made these systems awesome for connectivity in just about any situation! Later Linux Torvalds released LINUX, and the chase was on! Now, you didn't have to "buy" a version/release of UNIX, as LINUX was in only the most technical sense, "not UNIX". BUt it is UNIX. It's better. It's been tweaked and honed by people all over the world! And over 98% of the servers and online services today are running on LINUX.
My experience with software is extensive. I've worked with the Microsoft Office Suites, though the newer versions are becoming less sweet. For some reason, Microsoft seems to be eliminating the use of keyboards and key sequences, that always amde applications fast and efficient. For this reason, I prefer to remain with Microsoft Office 2003 Professional. It reads the newer stuff, but still has all the features that made Microsoft Office so nice to work with. I've also worked with StarOffice, and LibraOffice, and with an untold dozens of various apps and programs on all architectures. I have programmed extensively in Batchfiles (MS-DOS/Windows), and in Shell Scripting. I love the automation you can do with these, especially with shell scripting in UNIX/LINUX environments.
Suffice it to say, the Sr. Director at DELL Computers was exactly right. I "can" do just about anything! I've discovered that I have an uncanny nack for figuring things out and quickly adapting to learn how they work! So, whatever it is that I need to accomplish, I will figure it out. AND ... I will learn enough about it to be able to "teach it". So, if you're seeking me for a project or a need, don't get caught up in the tentacly entanglements of researching my certifications and training. MOST ... of what I can do, I have learned on my own .... not through training.
But as for me, I'd rather be working for GOD than anything else in the world ...
